In the Chair... still

I just couldn't resist showing you these other pictures Dad took of me in the chair. So many people have told me they liked the first pair that I thought we better share these too.

My "Aunt" Stacey gave me this lovely blanket that her mom made. It is lovely and I can tell a lot of hard work went into it because Mommy does much the same kind of work. Thanks "Aunt" Stacey and thank your mom for me too. Love, Magdalene

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Top o' the morn to you all! St. Patrick is one of my favourite saints. My Greatgrandnan comes from the O'Connol clan and so I am 1/8th Irish at least. But today we are all Irish aren't we.

Whether going on a trip or just lounging around the house one must be dressed for optimal cuteness.

A Word About My Vocabulary

I am learning that there are a great many people out there who love me and take care of me. To show my appreciation to these people I use certain terms to describe them and I thought I would let you know what they all mean.

1. "Auntie": An Auntie is any female parishioner in my Dad's parish who dotes upon me - and there are many!
2. "Aunt" & "Uncle": These people are my Mom & Dad's good friends
3. Aunt & Uncle: I only have one each of these. Karen and Tom Harrison are my Mom's sister and brother
4. Gran: My Dad's Mom (Pauline)
5. Grandad: My Dad's Dad (Jim)
6. Nanny: My Mom's Mom (Faye)
7. Grampy: My Mom's Dad (Tom)
8. Grandma Carol: My Mom's birth mother who lives in Ontario
9. "Sister": This would be our dog Dax

I am sure that these terms of endearment will change as I do so I will try to keep you posted. Love, Magdalene

Would you like to see my room?

I hope you like it. My room has become filled with all the lovely things that my friends and family have sent me. Aren't I a lucky little girl? Let's see there' s the crib that my greatgrandnan gave me; the change table that my Nan and Grampy Harrison gave me; the books that Mom and Dad read to me; and the toys that are so much fun to play with!

A whole four days before I came into this world my friend Fiona was born. Here is a picture of her with Dad and then one of her with Mom and Dad. Fi and I are really looking forward to playing together!

Now THIS is what I call comfort.

Ahhhh! Now this is a little piece of heaven. Mom and Dad got me this wonderful swing to help lull me to sleep. Oh so peaceful in my swing.
